Band Program for 2020/2021

Due to restrictions outlined by AHS and Alberta Education, it will not be possible to conduct the Band program at Kate Andrews High School in the way it has historically been done. 

Cohorting within instructional hours will mean that mixing of students within grade level and between grade levels will not be possible.  Therefore, access to Band classes during school hours will not be possible in the way it previously was.  In conjunction with Mr. Godin, and in line with safety protocols, we will do our best to create and support the program throughout the year.

Please have patience though as we need to  "learn to walk before we run."  Everything we do will be analyzed so as to ensure safety.  Therefore, in time we may be able to have an active program, but that will take time.
